I can go to the stealer, of course, and get the PN and order the part, for
about 5x what it's worth. Who on the web offers FACTORY car parts at good
prices? With cars so many things are available aftermarket at places like
Checker and many web sources, whereas for bikes the aftermarket parts (not
accessories, different story) are pretty much limited to clutches, brake
pads and a few gaskets. Maybe that's why the bike factory part market
flourished on the Web. But I think there's more to it than that. I wonder
if somehow the car dealership community has managed to keep it from
happening. Although you can buy a whole car online and they drive it to
your door - that's weird!
