Appreciate the concern, Jeremy, and yeah, I get it out of the garage every couple of weeks and run it for as long as I think I dare without havin' a fan on it. Soon as it seems warmed up, I sit on it and run it through the gears with the clutch in a few times. Even wind up the throttle a little bit to (hopefully) run fuel through all the circuits. Have Seafoam in the tank, and now I feel as though if I can get by a couple of days of riding the SR250 I might try the 1100 for the 6 miles to  work on Saturday. Got a nice grade on the way home so I should be able to get it moving fast enough to see if it'll run full throttle for a mile or so under a pretty good load.
I go see the therapist (physical, the other kind has never done me much good <g>) on Thursday and the chiropractor on Friday, and I know I'm gonna get chewed out for tearing the tricep again. Just have too much stuff that's gotta be done around the place and at work. If I can get the thing healed by the middle of summer I'll think I'm doin' okay.
Hope the rest of you folks are riding enough to make up for my lack.  ;^)

though it hurt the arm and shoulder a bit, I managed to get in 50 miles on
my wife's XV250 on Friday. Maybe in a couple of more months I'll be able to
get the big guy on the road."

Rob, that stinks, I feel for you. And I won't even offer to ride your bike
for you : ) Have you "winterized" the big V, or at least start and run
it periodically? Hate to have it all plugged up from inattention when
you're ready to rock'n'roll.
