Never let some one tell you what to ride!!!
I thought wind screans wore for old men, until I bought a bike that hd one when
I was working nights. The Vetter came off on one weekend and got put back the
next. I have good friends that own a HD shop and they yank my chain about the
Virago but they will not race for pinks even on the Venture. Ride what you want
I put the least miles on the chopper and it looks cool but it is only good for
the shows, Solo I always take the Virago and two up I take the Venture. If any
one comes to San Diego you can judge for your self. Rod
I keep
getting told that my Virago is an old man bike.....at 28yrs old I hate to
hear what they'd say if they saw me on a Venture.
"Am I getting old or what. I always kidded my friends when
the mentioned a bigger bike like these, calling them an old man's bike,
I'd never live it down." Yeah, the
Winni-bike-o. Whatever. Once you ride one, you'll know
why people do. I'm only 36...and there are some younger than me
on the Venture forum. Most are older, but some
younger :
