No this is not normal. Can you tell if it's in the engine or wheels? When it starts pull the clutch in and back off the throttle and coast. If it stops it's in the engine. If it doesn't stop it's in the drive train or wheels. I would first check my wheel bearings and work from there. Put the bike on the center stand and rotate the rear wheel by hand. It should rotate very smoothly. Then block or jack under the engine to get the front wheel off the ground and rotate it. Slow at first and try to feel any roughness. Also spin wheel and see when it quits if it might be out of balance. It's easy to do if you know what to look for. Hope this helps. If this doesn't tell you what's wrong get back to me. Also, check your manual. It's hard to diagnose a problem with out being there.

PS: Can't put it on the center stand as my 535 doesn't have one. But I'll test the "coast" next time I'm out.
