Take the stock air cleaner front plate an filter, or one of your choice, to
a quality sheetmetal shop to fashion some new air ducting to the carb.

CR, something like this home brewed single setup http://home.kc.rr.com/virago1000/partpics/newcarbcloseup.jpg

Has anybody tried to fit a different air cleaner on a KJS? I need one and KJS doesn't make them anymore. Ken at KJS told me I am on my own and won't recommend anything. So far I have spent $75 on special order air cleaners that don't fit, and there is no place on this island that has air cleaners on the shelf to try.
P.S. If you are think about buying a KJS you are going to have to go through the same thing.
