Howdy,

On related subject, Just got a 1982 XV750K Virago. Seems like the starter is sporadic and sounds like excessive drag, and wont start the motor at all if the engine is hot. Any suggestions or advice appriciated

Never a bad idea, only one wire necessary (the ground is easiest to get
to), but not really necessary.
