My fuel pump controller doesn't cycle my fuel pump after the low gas
warning light comes on. The Reserve swicth is ok. I've ohmed the
controller out according to the "Clymers" manual, it failed. The the
controller works other wise. I've been living with it this way since
I bought my '85 XV1000 in '03.
I'm wanting to fix the controller, I'm a electronic tech by
trade. I want to know what is inside the "black box" before I crack
it open. Has anyone ever opened one up. I'd like a schematic of
one...a picture of the insides, or even a description of the parts.
Does anyone have a bad one they'd lend me that I might open it up...If not in to
bad of shape I might be able to repair it for you.
