Still, the webpage talks about how the triple tree has been somehow re-engineered in such a way that the handling isn't much different than a regular bike. Supposedly the handling and safety won't be adversely affected by chopping it out like that. So you'd be paying for the engineering design, and not just a chopped out weld&chrome job.

Add some long black leather streamers from the handlebars and for $1600 you'll be in chick heaven (yeah right!). Ready for a starring part in the movie "Teenage Nymphos in a Chopper Hell." Heh!
