WA,
What?s with the 5th degree? The winter starting to get to you?
The sidecar wheel is forward of the rear wheel of the motorcycle so it can?t be called a second rear wheel. Maybe a side wheel? How does Gust do it? My sidecar is better looking then his. I?m better looking then he is. But all the women go to him for rides in his sidecar.
Shaft driven ? the rear wheel locks into the rear drive by means of splines. At the other end, there are splines where the drive shaft slides into the universal joint.
The question is ?Is there a CERTAIN SPECIAL grease that should be used??.
No I haven?t been riding ? too cold, too much snow, too much salt. I?ve been working on my sidecar so it will handle better come spring. Now that the sidecar is ready, I thought I would ask some questions about PM for the bike.
Wayne

I see a trouble maker here . . . "What grease do you use?"
Gust removed his rear wheel? Which one? I've had the pleasure of a ride in his machine and I know it has more than one.
Wayne, have you been riding lately? Or you just trying to stir stuff up?
(And now that Al is on the 'island' what flavor of OIL will he be using?)
And don't even get started on tyres, flats, etc. Is it easier to change a flat on a sidecar than it is on the bike? And what the heck is a spline?
wondering wa

How difficult would it be for a novice to do? What grease do you use? I recall something about Gust posting that he removed his rear wheel. If he can do that, I sure should be able to also.
