if opening the gas cap helped you'd think the vented cap wasn't functioning
right, but why it would only do it when almost out of juice doesn't follow,
well maybe the tank/cap is more "susceptible" to pressure build up when
there is mostly air vs. gas.
I'm thinking back on the length of time running. The first time was 116
miles straight when it 'ran out'. The next tank was 142 miles with several
stops and starts and she did fine. The next tank was 113 miles with one stop
midway and I'm down. Is it time to knock on something with a screwdriver or
replace a gasket?
I know you like to take your kids exploring, Jeff so if you're ever in the
Texas hill country, check out Enchanted Rock. There's more history there
than I've had time to research and still don't know if I could make it to
the top! I'm thinking MY tank would suffer an air lock as my old legs hauled
my arse up it.
