Is anyone here in Arkansas or does anyone know much about Scenic Hwy 7
there? I've been itching to make a three day weekend run that way for a
while now. One day to get to the northern end (420 miles approx), one day to
run it from North to South (290 miles approx), and a third day to return
home (320 miles approx). Now that I've mentioned the idea to my friends,
it's become a group ride. Since it's not just me and my wheels going alone I
now have to do some planning to accomodate everyone.
Does anyone know of "must see" spots along the route? Searching for "Scenic
Hwy 7 Arkansas" gets a lot of hits on the internet but I'm taking a guess as
to which places are really all they seem to be. It's listed as one of the
top ten roads in the country for riding but my friends will be wanting to
take breaks, site-see, souvenier shop, etc.
If anyone has any hints or input, I'd appreciate it!
