Doug- glad you don't like me quite that much. ;-)
Bike is basic black, doesn't have the metalflake paint that comes on the later models. One quarter-sized dent in lower-left part of tank.
Upholstery is in great shape for any used bike, much less an '88.
Rear spokes & rim are covered with greasy film, which indicates to me that chain/sprockets weren't ignored.
Front end feels a little mushy, rear shocks have a bit of surface rust and are on lowest rebound setting so they may not need replacing.
That's I noticed on first inspection. Oh yeah, it does have OEM passenger backrest.
Just a nice, basic bike.
If you're not gonna send money, I'll have to ask rich Uncle Jimbo. Sort of a reverse lend/lease program.

Rob,
I like you. In fact I like you a lot. Not enough to want to touch you but
still a lot. I had a boss who taught us to never say, 'no'. You would start
a conversation where the other guy offers a point that you might have
difficulty with. The obvious answer, the simple answer, is, 'no'. But he
taught us to start with, 'yes, let's talk about it.' So let me conclude by
saying, "She sure sounds like a beauty. Yes Rob she sure sounds like a
beauty".
Any more features that spiffy new toy has that you haven't told us about.
