I checked my carb synch but I'm a bit confused. Book says to pull the
little vacuum hose off the front carb manifold connect your line from
your vacuum gage, fine.
on the rear carb pull off the rubber cap and connect other gage, fine.
but now the line that used to run to the front carb is sucking air and
idle is low, this can't be how you're supposed to check it? I have no
AIS anymore, the line that used to run to it, from the 4 way vacuum
connection that sits right behind the AIS housing, I just plugged. Just
now I connected vacuum gages as above and put my finger over the open
line and checked like that. I don't how these vacuum lines work,
obviously the two carbs are connected and vacuum between the two is
thus equalized, checking as above removes the front carb from the other
so now they are isolated.
Anyway, pressure was the same on both. Just curious.
