Mine is the same way. I seems to be normal for these bikes since they use a
level sensor rather than a pressure sensor. Really, it's probably a good
thing that it blows off some oil. It keeps the oil a little fresher if you
are adding some and it keeps you thinking about the oil so you don't let it
go too long.

This is exactly how my bike acts too. I keep the oil level about
halfway between the two hash marks on the window and i get the light
while idling on the side stand, it goes off when I take off, but comes
back on about 30 seconds later, then goes off again about 20 seconds
after that, like clockwork. If I fill it higher it blows it back out.
