Igor- in addition to cleaning and lubing all the joints, I've even removed the circlip that holds the shift lever and packed the area with grease.
Also noticed that there seemed to be some slop.
Might see if adding a washer on the shaft helps.
Seems as though I remember that Jeff or Jeremy talked of drilling out the shifter and adding a bushing over the shaft to remove the excess play.
