Larry- no scanner, hell, my printer's been busted for about a year and I never seem to think about trying to get another one when I get to town with a car.
Must be somebody on the list that can make a copy and send it out.
As for the float bowl parting line, that is just the point where the lower part separates from the carb body after you take out the 4 screws from the bottom.
They do emphasize that the bike be perfectly level when doing this, even to the point of using wood shims under the stand.
