Larry- Clymer manual says that fuel level for left carb on your bike is 1mm, right carb is 2mm, measured from bowl parting line. From looking at the diagram I'm guessing that they mean above the top of the bowl but others on the list may have the practical experience to tell you for sure. Haven't had to mess with my carbs yet after 36,000 miles.
