The parts bike was a 1982 with cycom panel just like mine. I used the case
cover off of the newer engine as I wanted to keep it together as much as
possible. They wouldn't have made changes to the case cover within the same
year would they? Both cases have the exact same number stamped into them,
IN2345...And from the engine numbers, it appears that they were each made
about 1000 bikes apart.
Which relays will cut off the spark? And will they ONLY cut off the spark or
won't they also cut off power to the ignition. The bike will turn over .
When testing the coils, what I don't know is what readings I'm supposed to
get. My manual says to set it at 1K of resistance. Both of my meters only go
down to 2K.
