Hey Jeff

FLAASH brought up a really important point, the proper fit of your
helmet. My KBC full face feels almost too tight as I am pulling over my
head, after it's in place and ready to do it's job it settles in and is
verrrrry comfortable. No internal buffeting or substantial wind noise, my
wife and I can talk at almost normal voice when she rides with me and my
peripheral vision is not compromised at all. One other thought that came
to mind is that you haven't bought a shield yet. Another subject that
will probably raise the hackles of a few listers, but I feel that the
shield helps with the whole issue of how much wind causes how much loss
of audible "awareness" of the world around you by removing most of the
wind.

Tim G. also makes a good point though, to wear any gear that creates a
problem is never a good idea.

Then there is the whole issue of economics. It amazes me to see helmets
approaching $1000, but I guess that just the cost of being in the sport.

Has anybody out there seen these "Helmet Halo" things first hand? Seems
like a reasonable concept but it also sounds like it could get real
tacky. Any thoughts from anybody?
