So I drove my '75 Kaw 900 into storage today. Wow, how did I ever ride that
thing for 6 years? Anyway, since it has a fairing I wore my normal open
face helmet and since I had spent the last 290 miles on my Virago with a
full face, I was reminded of the vast difference in how much better I could
see with the open face.
Any thoughts on safety vs. comfort between helmet types? I know, probably
another one of "those" issues again.
I prefer my open face. I guess I'm willing to risk the damage to my jaw in
the name of vastly increasing my ability to see (which may well decrease my
chances of crashing and hurting by jaw)
What's the conventional biker wisdom on this?
