I've got the same bike but I've only had it for 5 weeks!
I do remember someone else saying oil consumption at higher speeds but they
seemed to mention it in a "that's just the way it is" kinda tone.
But 100 miles/qt sounds ridiculous to me.  I'd say you've got something
going on there, I'm sure the experts will chime in soon.
