It sounds like the pipes may have liked a bit leaner jetting, but the
filter preferred richer?
I did the dragstrip thing, but when my bike was pretty much bone stock. I
only got to take 3 passes, with my best being 14.1 sec at ~92 mph. Then I
rode my buddy's VMAX down the tarmac - now THAT's an e-ticket ride!
