Your 920 cc is a 1983 model while Brent's model is a 1982. You have either the XV920K or the XV920MK (K means 1983)

Hmmm, Brent, Now I'm confused.
My 920, serial # 24M-002198 , has a single front disk and I was of the
impression that this was the norm.

I'll check Clymers, but perhaps someone can shed light on this.

Never met a person I couldn't learn from.
