One of the things I like most about the Virago is that its a relaxed
cruiser style, but *without* forward controls.  Every time I go to the
dealer and sit on a v-star, road-star, etc, I can't imagine how
uncomfortable and less controlled that would feel.

I also have very short legs (another main reason for getting a virago) and
the controls fit me much better than any of the forward controls do.
