(I meant to say ...Remember a 17" LCD panel has almost as much display
area as a 19"CRT) typical 19" monitors usually have a 18.25" visible
display area and usually not usable edge to edge. A 17" lcd display is
very close to 17" all usable. CRTs are generally have better contrast
ratio and response times.
