Back in the early days, I was working in a truck for a shoot at the old
Playboy club in Manhattan (58th St.). I can't remember the production
company, but it had an animal for their logo. I was real energetic, and
worked real hard, and impressed the owners of this truck . I was also the
"tape op" with the 1" VTR's - of which I threaded up wrong, and recorded the
ENTIRE PRODUCTION with the 1" machine threaded incorectly.

Subject: Re: [OT] cruelty to interns - was Best tech notes ever
I don't want to name names, but a couple years ago at our National Sales
Convention, during the keynote speech by our President/CEO, our intern,
MICHAEL GARBRANDT, was carrying the tripod for our videographer. As they
passed through a small opening in the pipe and drape divider...this divider
was about 10 feet tall 50 feet long...he snagged the drape with the tripod.
It started falling in both directions and there was nothing we could do to
stop it. It all crashed to the floor and scared the crap out of about 3200
people.
