If you think this was tricky, you should have seen what they were doing during
this past year's Indianapolis 500 Race. They added billboard overhangs and
signs over turns that took my wife and me the entire race to convince our
guests the signs weren't real (she's from Indy and we've been to the track tens
of times to know). They were advertising Oldsmobile and a few other sponsors.
The signs were very nice except their perspective was off just a little.
Anyway, the entire structures were created to add advertising space to the
track and worked really well.
